M A G M A 1.0 Bass Preamp
We are very excited to announce our newest product, the MAGMA 1.0 Bass Preamp! The MAGMA preamplifier incorporates solid state CMOS technology. The MAGMA includes two separate identical channels, A and B, or a blend input A/B, as well as both channel effects loops, two MASTER line outs, DIRECT output and footswitch with options for switching between each channel or both!
Each unit is enclosed is a standard 19 in. 2U rackmount durable steel case, using aerospace engineering ink for labeling.This has been a project we have been engineering for over a year and we are now bringing it you! Below are sound samples of our newest product please enjoy!

A single Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar, stock bridge pickup, was used for the following recordings. The resulting audio was recorded through the MAGMA 1.0 Bass Preamp into a PV 8.5C 500 watt power amp feeding a MONOLITH 415-RFL, using a Sennheiser 421 microphone placed 6 inches from the top front facing speaker and fed into Pro Tools. No additional processes or plugins were used to alter the sound.
Each MAGMA channel uses the following controls: DRIVE, BASS, MID, TREBLE and LEVEL. The overall output signal of each or both channels is controlled by a MASTER volume control through the MASTER LINE OUTS on the rear of the unit. A balanced Direct output has been added to the unit for line level signals.
